Recently the Tripura Gramin Bank has started this initiative to boost its service to the state level in the Tripura villagers. This is the first Indian bank to start the Solar-Powered ATM Van that will provide cash flow all over the Tripura remote area.
This mission will enhance awareness about banking and its related services. ATM VAN provide a cash withdrawal option from the VAN. This van is operated by the solar panel, not any fuel oil deiseal and petrol.

Tripura state has introduced this initiative for the banking sector to enhance the cash withdrawal from the ATM VAN. ATM van means that move here and there and help the people to take the cash from the VAN. The short form of this banking service is TGB (Tripura Gramin Bank). Why is it in the news that each govt of India encourages the people to use the solar system or solar lights, etc?
About Solar-Powered ATM Van
To save fuel and energy, and on the ATM VAN on the roof of the van, solar panel plate is installed and an EV battery is operated for the ATM and the van both. This van provides the ATM service all over the Tripura state rural area. With the help of this ATM, everyone can get cash in rural and remote areas.
A few banks had started this initiative in 2023, but it was not successfully installed. After coming to this Solar ATM VAN bank is giving the banking service properly all over Tripura.
