The government of Maharashtra has started the most awaited government initiative scheme for the women to make them empower and dependant. This Pink E Rickshaw Initiative is the most popular govt scheme in Maharashtra state. This scheme will be beneficial only for the women or females. Govt offers this scheme to those women who are poor or not having the ample money or jobs. There are many advantages of this scheme, mainly this would enhance the money value of women empowerment.
Key Features of Pink E-Rickshaw
- This scheme is implemented only in Maharashtra State.
- It has been launched and distributed by the Deputy CM Ajit Pawar
- Women aged 20–50, especially widows, divorcees, and low-income groups
- Around 10,000 Ten Thousand Rickshaw will be distributed
Financial Assistance by Maharashtra Government
As per the official notice the amount of E-Rickshaw ₹25,000 per e-rickshaw will be given by the state government and 75,000 per Rickshaw.
Beneficiary Contribution
According to the latest news, to avail this scheme eligible women have to pay only 10% down payment and the rest of the amount will be accepted by the bank at a lower interest rate.
