Bihar is the most popular and famous state in India, but due to not good industries and business opportunities, Bihar is going down day by day. To boost the business and farmers’ income government of India has decided to open a regional office of the APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority).
To increase the income of the farmer and businessman man income government of India, Department of Agriculture, Piyush Goal started a regional office to make the Bihar Agri products make a global presence outside India.
About APEDA and its importance
We can not forget the value and importance of the APEDA because it’s the central government’s operating organisation. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), established under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The APEDA works on the following points to enhance the Bihar GDP.
- Promoting agricultural exports from Bihar
- Providing certification and registration services to holders.
- Offering market intelligence and advisory support
- Supporting infrastructure for agri-trade and its expansion.
The APDA will assist in shipping the product to foreign countries and help the businessman and farmer.
Inauguration Highlights
This initiative was taken by Piyush Goel and started this office in the presence of the Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary, Industries Minister Nitish Mishra, senior officials, FPOs, entrepreneurs, and farmer groups. This is a good start for the wellness of Bihar and its business.
